25 Staff Car Driver Posts in West Bengal Postal Circle
The Mail Motor Services (MMS), Kolkata has issued a notification to fill 25 vacancies of Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) in the West Bengal Postal Circle.
The posts will first be filled on deputation/absorption from the Department of Posts. If enough eligible candidates are not found, they will be filled from other Central Government Ministries/Departments or by Armed Forces personnel (deputation/re-employment).

Who Can Apply?
1. Department of Posts employees (first preference)
- Regular Dispatch Riders (Group C) and Group C employees in Pay Level 1 (such as MTS) in the Department of Posts
- Must have a valid driving licence for light and heavy motor vehicles
- Selection will be through a Trade Test / Driving Test to check their ability to drive light and heavy vehicles
2. Employees of other Central Government Ministries
Regular Dispatch Riders or regular Group C employees in Level 1, who have:
- A valid driving licence for light and heavy motor vehicles
- Knowledge of motor mechanism (able to fix minor defects)
- At least 3 years’ experience of driving light and heavy vehicles
- 10th pass from a recognised Board
3. Armed Forces personnel
Those who are due to retire or move to reserve within one year and have the required experience and qualifications. They will be on deputation till their release date and may then continue on re-employment.
