How Was the Merit List Made?
- A single circle-level merit list was prepared for Category A, Category B and GDS candidates.
- Divisions were allotted as per merit in Paper-I and the order of preference given by candidates.
- The result considers the Directorate’s clarification dated 22.09.2026 on Dies-Non, EOL, unauthorised absence and the Senior-Junior clause.
- In case of equal marks, rank was decided as per Directorate letter dated 11.12.2020.

Other Important Rules
- The selection is provisional, subject to verification of certificates and eligibility.
- For SC/ST/PwBD candidates, promotion is provisional until caste/PH status is verified.
- If any vigilance or disciplinary case is pending, the official will not be relieved without orders from the Circle Office.
- In two cases, promotion will take effect only after the penalty period ends.
- Anyone who declined promotion earlier can be offered promotion only after one year from the date of refusal.
- No request for re-allotment of division will be considered.
Re-totaling, Re-evaluation and RTI
- Re-totaling or re-evaluation is not allowed.
- You can get a photocopy of your answer sheet through RTI.
- Fee: ₹25 per paper (with answer key) + ₹10 RTI application fee.
- Apply through your Division/Unit with the original fee receipt.
- You must mention your OMR Form No. and Roll Number.
- OMR sheets are kept for one year only from the result date.
