AP Circle Releases PA/SA Supplementary Result
Andhra Pradesh Postal Circle has declared a supplementary result of the LDCE for promotion to Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) for the vacancy year 2026. Three more officials have been selected. They fill posts left empty when some candidates from the main result declined or refused their promotion.
The letter was issued by the Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Andhra Pradesh Circle, Vijayawada, on 29 September 2026. Its number is RE/3-5/R/2026, and it follows the main result letter dated 25 August 2026.

- Written exam: 28 June 2026
- Data Entry Skill Test (DEST): 2 August 2026
- Main result: 25 August 2026
- Supplementary result: 29 September 2026
- Newly selected: 3 (2 UR, 1 SC)
- Why a supplementary list: to fill vacancies after declination, unwillingness or refusal
Candidates Selected in the Supplementary Result
| No. | Name | Home division | Category | Paper-I | DEST | Allotted to |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Venkateswaramma Simhadri | Tenali | UR | 74 | 25 | Markapur (Vijayawada Region) |
| 2 | Enumula Venkata Rao | Vijayawada | UR | 74 | 24.78 | Markapur (Vijayawada Region) |
| 3 | Bandi Sravanthi | Tirupati | SC | 68 | 23.03 | Gudivada (Vijayawada Region) |
All three have been allotted divisions in the Vijayawada Region.
In Merit, but Not Allotted
Because of limited preferences
One candidate came in merit but could not be given a post. He had chosen only a few cadres or divisions, and none of those had a vacancy when his turn came.
| Name | Category | Paper-I | DEST | Reason |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| V. Mahesh | SC | 69 | 24.78 | Limited preferences for divisions/units |
Lesson: list as many divisions as you are willing to work in. Narrow preferences can cost you a post even with good marks.
Because of equal marks (tie-break)
These candidates scored the same Paper-I marks as the selected candidates in their category. Ties were broken as per the Directorate’s guidelines dated 11.12.2020. Only the top candidate(s) after the tie-break were selected, and there were no vacancies left for the rest.
| No. | Name | Category | Paper-I | DEST |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Posa Ramesh | UR | 74 | 24.80 |
| 2 | Gajula Sravani | UR | 74 | 25 |
| 3 | Kunchala Kasi Rao | UR | 74 | 24.57 |
| 4 | K. Nagaraju | UR | 74 | 25 |
| 5 | N. Narmada | UR | 74 | 25 |
| 6 | Polagani Naga Raju | UR | 74 | 24.59 |
| 7 | Dasari Brahma Teja | SC | 68 | 25 |
What this tells us about the cut-off
- UR: the last selection in this list was at 74 marks in Paper-I. Six other UR candidates also had 74 but lost out on the tie-break.
- SC: the last selection was at 68 marks. One more SC candidate with 68 lost out on the tie-break.
This shows how close the competition is. A single extra mark in Paper-I can decide selection, and DEST alone does not settle a tie.
Conditions for Selected Candidates
- Provisional selection: it depends on meeting all the conditions of the PA/SA Recruitment Rules.
- Pre-appointment checks: Divisional Heads will re-check eligibility before giving the offer of appointment.
- No pending cases: no disciplinary or vigilance case should be pending or planned, and no punishment should be running. Any such case must be reported to the Circle Office.
- Report mistakes: if any name, roll number or category is wrong, it should be reported to the Circle Office through the Division or Region.
What Should You Do Now?
If you are selected: check your details, keep your documents ready and wait for the offer of appointment from your division.
If you are on the tie-break list: keep watching for more supplementary results. Another list can be issued if more selected candidates decline.
If you missed out: look at the 74 (UR) and 68 (SC) marks and plan to score above them next time.
