Important Conditions for Selected Candidates

- This shortlisting is not a final offer of appointment. It is only for document verification.
- Selection is purely provisional, subject to verification of all certificates and documents.
- The candidature can be cancelled without notice if false information or data is found at any stage.
- Postman-cadre candidates must acquire a driving license (two-wheeler, three-wheeler, or light motor vehicle) within two years of appointment. Persons with disability are exempted.
- Postman candidates without a valid driving license at appointment will not earn periodical increment in pay until they produce the license, or for up to 5 years, whichever is earlier.
- Postman-cadre candidates in Tamil Nadu must have knowledge of the local language (Tamil), at least up to 10th standard, except in Mahe and Yenam districts.
- Selected candidates will be on probation for a minimum of two years.
- Selected candidates must be liable to serve anywhere in India as required by the Appointing Authority.
- Candidates furnishing false information will be disqualified and may face legal or criminal action, along with debarment from future recruitment.

- A Supplementary List will be published later for candidates whose certificate verification or clarification is still pending.
- No individual rejection letters will be issued. All updates will be uploaded on www.indiapost.gov.in.
- Any vacancy that remains unfilled will be added to the overall vacancy of the next vacancy year.
