PwBD (Horizontal) Vacancies
- Notified: VH – 1, HH – 1, OH – 4, MD – 0 → Total 6
- Filled: OH – 4 → Total 4
- PwBD vacancies of previous years in VH, HH and MD categories were interchanged with OH category vacancies due to non-availability of eligible candidates in the respective categories.

Other Important Conditions in the Order
- Heads of Divisions/Units must re-check service particulars of successful candidates before issuing the promotion order. Any discrepancy must be corrected and reported to the Circle Office.
- No candidate whose punishment period is still in force shall be appointed before the expiry of that period.
- For SC / ST / PwBD candidates, promotion is provisional, subject to verification of caste/PwBD certificates. An undertaking will be taken at the time of joining, and verification must be completed within one month.
- Requests for revaluation will not be entertained, as per Directorate instructions.
- The Competent Authority reserves the right to make changes in the merit list for any reason, in accordance with existing Rules.
- Detailed marks/result of all candidates who appeared in the examination will be released shortly.
- CEPT Mysore has been directed to upload the final result on the India Post website.

Rough Cut-Off Trend (Paper-I Marks)

- UR (Category A): around 54–55 marks in Paper-I
- ST (Category A): around 46 marks in Paper-I
- SC (Category A): around 33 marks in Paper-I
- Category B candidates were selected at a noticeably higher band, mostly 51 to 82 marks
