How to Calculate Your Score

Follow these easy steps:

  1. Take out your question paper or recall your set/series (A, B, C or D). Your set is printed on the first page of your booklet.
  2. Match your answers with the correct column of the above table.
  3. Count total correct answers for each paper separately.
  4. Add marks as per the exam pattern given in your circle notification.
  5. For deleted questions, treat them as per department rule (usually marks are given to all).
  6. Add your totals of Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III to get a rough idea of your final score.

Note: This is only an estimated score. The official marks will come with the GDS to MTS Result / GDS to Postman Result declared by the circle.

How to Download the Official Final Answer Key PDF

  1. Visit the official India Post website: www.indiapost.gov.in

  6. Save it, take a printout, and keep it safely until the result is declared.

  • The GDS to MTS Result and GDS to Postman / Mail Guard Result will be published on India Post website.
  • Selected candidates will get posting orders from their respective Divisional Heads.
  • No objection is accepted after the final key. The final key is treated as final and binding.
