Note: Always match your Question Booklet Code printed on your paper before checking. The same question appears at different numbers in each series.
How to Raise an Objection โ Step by Step
This is where most candidates make mistakes. Follow this exactly.
Step 1 โ Note the deadline Feedback, comments and contentions must reach the office up to 07.08.2026 by 1700 hours. The notice states clearly that submissions after the due date and time will not be entertained in any case.
Step 2 โ Use email only Send to adhry.exam@gmail.com. The notice specifically says not by post.
Step 3 โ Use the prescribed format The format requires:
| Field | What to fill |
|---|---|
| Name & official address of the candidate | Your full name and office address |
| Division | Your division name |
| Roll No | Your exam roll number |
| Question Paper No & Question Booklet Code | From your question paper |
Then for each disputed question:
| Column | What to fill |
|---|---|
| Serial No | 1, 2, 3… |
| Question No and details of the question with all four answer options | Write the full question and all four options |
| Comments, if the provisional answer key is incorrect in your view | Your reasoning |
Step 4 โ Attach your proof (this is mandatory) The format carries a critical instruction:
Rule Number / Instructions and their prescribed source must be cited. A copy of the same Rule Number / instructions must be scanned and submitted along with the feedback.
In plain words โ an objection without documentary proof will not stand. You cannot simply write “I think the answer is B.” You must cite the exact rule number, name the source, and attach a scanned copy of that rule or instruction.
Step 5 โ Sign and date The format requires your signature, mobile number, place, and time & date.
Common Mistakes That Get Objections Rejected
Avoid all of these:
- Sending the objection by post instead of email
- Sending it after 1700 hours on 07.08.2026
- Writing only the question number without the full question and four options
- Giving an opinion without citing a rule number
- Citing a rule but not attaching the scanned copy
- Forgetting the question booklet code โ the office cannot verify your claim without it
- Leaving out signature or mobile number
What Happens After This?
The normal sequence in departmental exams is:
- Provisional answer key released โ you are here
- Objection window closes (07.08.2026)
- Objections examined; some questions may be deleted or answers revised
- Final answer key published
- Result of Paper-I declared with qualified list
- DEST (Paper-II) conducted
- Final result with division allotment
For reference, in the recently concluded Rajasthan Circle exam, three questions were deleted in every series after the objection stage. So objections genuinely matter โ they change scores.
Calculate Your Score Now
Do not wait for the result. Calculate today.
- Match your series code first
- Tick each correct answer against the key above
- Count your total out of 100
- Mark any question you want to challenge, and start collecting the rule proof immediately
Benchmark for reference: in the West Bengal Circle result for the same vacancy year, the top scorers reached 67 marks, and general category selections mostly needed 53 and above. Cut-offs are circle-specific, but this gives you a rough sense of where you stand.
For Those Who Feel the Paper Went Badly
One exam does not close the door.
- Save this answer key and analyse which topics you lost marks in, not just how many
- Build a routine around Postal Assistant Previous Year Question Papers and India Post Previous Year Question Papers
- Take a weekly PA SA Mock Test and India Post Mock Tests under real time pressure
- Start typing practice today โ DEST eliminates many candidates who cleared Paper-I
- Follow the Postal Assistant Syllabus strictly instead of studying randomly
- Consider structured PA SA Online Classes or India Post Departmental Exam Coaching for a proper plan
Remember, the India Post Cadre Restructuring Part-I Report has recommended merging PA and SA into a unified India Post Associate cadre, with 1,565 upgraded supervisory posts and a new 1:3:9:27 promotion pyramid. Entering the cadre sooner means climbing that new ladder sooner.
