- Selected candidates must be relieved immediately so they can join their new posting.
- Candidates must accept or refuse the offer in writing.
- If there is no reply within 1 week, it will be treated as refusal. The post will then go to the next eligible candidate through a supplementary result.
- Divisional Heads must send the final joining status by 13-10-2026 (Tuesday).
Conditions Before Appointment

- Divisions must re-check name, roll number and category before issuing the offer. Any mistake must be corrected and reported to the Circle Office.

- Any false declaration will lead to cancellation without notice.
Key Lessons for Postman and Mail Guard Aspirants
- Seats go unfilled every year. Two SC posts and one UR post stayed empty in this result. If you are eligible, always apply. A seat you don’t apply for may simply go to waste.
- Attach your documents properly. Five selected candidates did not attach their SC/ST certificates. They still got selected, but it adds extra verification work and can delay joining. Always submit a complete form.
- Preference matters. Allotment was done based on the preference given by candidates. Think carefully before filling your division choices.
- Don’t take DEST lightly. It is qualifying, but without clearing it you cannot be selected, no matter how good your written score is.
The same exam path is also open to GDS employees through the GDS to Postman and GDS to Mail Guard route. If you are preparing for the next GDS to Postman Departmental Exam or MTS to Postman LDCE, start early with the GDS to Postman Syllabus, solve previous year question papers, and practise with regular mock tests. Structured GDS to Postman Online Classes can help you cover both Paper-I and Paper-II with confidence.
