The Training Division at Dak Bhawan issued an Office Memorandum about this on 5 October 2026. It is signed by Shri Stefan Simon Tobias, Assistant Director General (CP & Training). The file number is Tr-01/7/2022-Training-DOP.
The session is based on a D.O. letter from the CEO of Karmayogi Bharat dated 1 October 2026. It will be moderated by Dr. R. Balasubramaniam, Member, NITI Aayog.

What will the session cover?
The session is part of Mission Karmayogi, and its main theme is citizen centricity. It will talk about:
- Building empathy towards the public
- Being more responsive to people’s needs
- Following a citizen-first approach in daily work
- Bringing the spirit of Seva Bhav (the spirit of service) into public service delivery
For post office staff who meet customers every day, these are very practical lessons.
How to Join the Seva Bhav Session on iGOT Karmayogi
Joining is easy and takes only a few minutes. Follow these steps:
- Log in to iGOT Karmayogi a little before 11:00 AM on 7 October 2026, using your usual login.
- Open the session link: igotkarmayogi.gov.in/#/campaign/seva-bhav. The direct link works only on 7 October 2026.
- Or use the Events section: if the direct link does not open, go to the Events section on the iGOT Karmayogi platform and find “Seva Bhav”.
- Watch the full session from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
- Check your learner profile afterwards. The special credit under “Service Orientation” will show there.
Important: you get the credit only if you attend through the iGOT Karmayogi platform. Watching a forwarded video or a screen share will not add the credit to your profile.
The DoP has asked all offices to share this widely and to encourage staff to attend. The memo was sent through the e-office notice board, the India Post website, all Circles and Directorates, PTCs and RTCs.
Why Should Postal Employees Attend?
It costs you one hour, and you get a credit on your official learner profile. Here is why it is worth it:
- Profile credit: Service Orientation is one of the competencies tracked on iGOT Karmayogi.
- Better counter work: GDS, Postmen, MTS and Postal Assistants deal with the public every day. Small habits of empathy and quick response make a big difference.
- Department focus: citizen-first service is a key theme of Mission Karmayogi, and the DoP is actively pushing it.
