Vacancies To Be Included (As On 30.06.2026)
These vacancies will be added to the final list:
- Vacancies created between 01.01.2026 and 30.06.2026 due to resignation, transfer, discharge, voluntary discharge, termination, removal, dismissal on disciplinary grounds, promotion, or long-term deputation (above 6 months) to IPPB and APS.
- Unfilled vacancies from GDS Online Engagement Schedule, January 2026, where no candidate joined, or the candidate resigned after joining.
- Posts that became vacant due to transfers under the GDS Limited Transfer Facility – May 2026 Cycle. This applies even if the transfer happened after 30.06.2026.
Vacancies To Be Excluded
These vacancies will NOT be part of the final list:
- Posts already declared surplus, or where a surplus proposal is already submitted.
- Vacancies caused by the death of a GDS, if six months have not passed since the death. These are kept reserved for compassionate engagement only.
- Vacancies pending verification from certain education boards, including the Uttar Pradesh (Allahabad) Board, West Bengal Council of Rabindra Open School, and Bihar Open School Education and Examination Board, Patna.
Who Should Take Action Now?
- Circles: Complete board configuration/re-verification between 27.07.2026 and 03.08.2026.
- Divisions: Complete vacancy capturing in the same window, 27.07.2026 to 03.08.2026.
- CEPT Mysuru and Hyderabad: Open the portal for vacancy capturing as per this schedule, and circulate the detailed SOP.
Candidates just need to wait for the descriptive notification. It will be released separately, once vacancy verification is complete.
